Slimline Eyeglass Pouch

I created this eyeglass pouch because I needed a small, slimline pouch to store my readers in my purse so they wouldn’t get scratched. It’s a very simple pattern, easily adjusted to be smaller or larger, depending on your needs.
Materials:
- Schachenmayr Catania yarn (Pictured in color 130 - Cream)
- 2.5mm hook (For US sizes, use either a B or C)
- 2mm round leather cording, 17” length
- 12mm wooden beads
- Tapestry needle
Pattern Notes:
- This really is more of a recipe than a strict pattern. I give you the number of stitches in each round and the number of rounds that I did, but you can certainly increase or decrease either of them to change the size. You can also use a different type/weight of yarn and adjust the hook accordingly.
- To make the pouch wider, increase the number of chains in the starting chain. The starting chain should be a multiple of 4 +1.
- The pouch is worked in a continuous spiral unless otherwise noted.
- The chains at the beginning of rows do NOT count as stitches.
- The finished size for my pouch is 16cm long (6.25”) by 5.5cm (2.2”) wide.
