Hat:
I have given instruction for a way to make a smaller hat by using the size 9 needle. I just used 10.5 for both the hat and the Cowl.

I bought a hank of homespun thick and thin yarn that had 200 yards.
I was able to make both the Cowl and the hat , with extra to spare.

I used approx 80 yards of the Cascade Baby alpaca bulky, for the Hat.
