The Slip and Twist Hat uses slip-stitch patterns and a cable needle to create a lovely, textured hat. By using slip stitches to create color patterns, you can knit a multi-colored hat without the hassle of using more than one color per round.

Play with the colors! This hat looks beautiful in 1 color (lots of texture), 2 colors (great for sports fans), or many colors (for the rainbow lover in your life).

Great for yarn scraps! Each contrast color stripe only requires 4 yards of yarn, so you can knit a colorful hat without a trip to the store.

BOTH charted AND written instructions – two sizes available! I’ve even written notes for how to adjust sizing to make the perfect fit.

This hat looks hard but isn’t! The pattern is easy to memorize. Just follow the pattern and impress your knitting and non-knitting friends.
