Slip Me, Baby
“When I’m not knitting I lose my mind, give me a sign! Slip Me Baby, one more time!”
This fun piece will ward off the chill this fall and winter. It’s a fun, quick knit full of slipped stitches, combined with basic knit and purl. Although it looks a bit complex, it’s something that even a beginner should be able to sink their teeth into.
The finished measurements are approximately 24” in circumference and 7.5” high, unblocked. As this is a highly adaptable pattern, your sizing may vary.
This pattern is done in a multiple of 4 stitches. Do you want a thinner cowl with drape? Use fingering weight and adjust your stitch count to match. Prefer bulky yarn? Grab a thick pair of needles and drop the stitch count down.
Approximate yardage for this pattern is 240yds. This is with extra added to compensate for gauge differences. You may use less, you may use more. You may use double if you want a long cowl that wraps around a couple of times.
Kits for this pattern are available through Red Head Fibers on FiberCrafty! If you are planning to get one of these kits, do NOT buy this pattern first. You will be given a coupon code with your kit so that you can get this pattern as part of the purchase price.
