Stitch gauge is much more important than row gauge. I tend to knit very loosely, my socks are generally made on size 1s. With sport yarn, I’ve gone up to 3s, and am suggesting 4s for most knitters.

The sock has a base of 60 stitches rather than the traditional 64 which also accommodates the larger needles and yarn.

This pattern was designed to highlight beautifully variegated yarn, but any color choice will work. Have fun!
