Alternating slipped stitches and knit stitches create a very easy, memorizable pattern and a beautifully textured fabric that looks more complicated than it is to make. Slip Snuggle is made with cashmere/merino blend yarn, making it ultra soft and cozy. Slipping on this cowl is like slipping into the arms of a loved one for a big, cozy hug. Low yardage for each color makes this cowl perfect for scrap busting, gift knitting, or your next selfish project.

This simple slipped stitch cowl was designed for beginner cowl knitters! The repeats are easily memorizable, and this pattern creates a cowl anyone can be proud to wear or gift!

This pattern is great for using up leftover DK yarn from your stash, just find 50g of a unifying color, and 20g of two contrasting colors, or even use different colors for every stripe! Be sure your yarns are the same weight and a similar fiber composition and twist.

The yarn used for the sample is a Cashmere/Merino blend. To achieve optimum drape and warmth, I suggest you use yarn with similar fiber content. Any DK will do, but the cashmere gives this cowl some additional warmth, drape, and lightness.
