Slip Stitch Faux Fair Isle
This is an interesting, but not difficult pattern, that uses three colors and slip stitches. One color is worked back and forth across a row at a time. There is no stranding. The second color is slipped onto the needle from the row below, giving a fair isle effect. All three colors can be carried up the side, so there is not a lot of finishing work. This pattern has areas of concentration and areas of rest, which makes it a good piece to work on while watching TV, but not having a conversation. For advanced beginners and up.
The main color of yarn includes the cuffs and collar. It is about 600-750 yards of this color. Color 1, and Color 2, will use approximately 200-300 yards each.
A three needle bind off is used to connect the front shoulders to the back shoulders.
This pattern was made for Bunny Gold, an American made angora yarn, to be mixed with other yarns.
