Slip Stitch Toddler Sock
I wanted to use up some scrap yarn by making some socks for my daughter - something simple but not too boring.
I’ve written up a pattern for those socks.
This pattern is available in two version - long and short.
The long version has an extensive Skill section where I’ve gathered resources (mostly links to tutorials I’ve found helpful) for many techniques that I used in these socks. I’ve found these kinds of sections very useful in the past for learning new techniques.
Skills mentioned:
- Neat(er) Ribbing
- German Short Row Heel
- Heel Gap Closure Methods
- Decrease Tips (specifically neater SSKs)
- Kitchener Stitch
- Color Changes
- Weaving in Ends
- Blocking
The short version of this pattern has no Skill section or pictures and has been reformatted to be more printer friendly. The pattern directions (pages 3 & 4) will fit on one piece of paper if printed double-sided.
