The origin of this project was my desire to have a knit bag to protect my tablet when I leave the house. When I realized I could use a slipped-stitch pattern that incorporated a garter stitch along with carrying the yarn across the slipped stitches on the public side, the Slipped-Stitch Tablet Bag came into being. As I put my plan into action, I realized I could use an attached I-cord and a Dorset button for additional interest. By combining these techniques with the exciting yarn from a local independent dyer,  Riverside Studio, Gatineau, Quebec, I was able to create a vibrant cover for my tablet.
