My inspiration for this pattern was an incredible colourway of Madelinetosh Euro Sock, Snowcone Shack. On a beautiful summer day, there are worse things I can think of than slipping sideways into a snowcone!

This pullover uses three simple slip stitch patterns and a variegated colourway for the accent colour to create the look of a woven fabric. The contrast colour is a really good use of those yarns that are beautiful in the skein, but tough to use in garments because of pooling or strong colour transitions. With a graceful scooping neckline and a few inches of ease, this pullover is lightweight and comfortable for summer.

The body of this pullover is worked flat, but a combination of picked up stitches and a three needle bind off of the side panels means that there are no seams to sew up afterwards. The sleeves are worked top-down in the round after the side seams are joined.
