Slipslip Balaclava
Slipslip Balaclava is a close fitted unisex balaclava.
This stylish accessory will keep your head warm during the cold season. It will definitely add some cozy vibes to your autumn/winter outfit. Slipslip Balaclava was inspired by vintage balaclavas and it perfectly pairs with any look. This balaclava is worked in a very easy, nice-looking slip stitch pattern with no purl stitches involved.
You can work it using two colors for some marled effect or use just one color for a more solid look.
This balaclava is worked pretty fast using worsted or aran weight yarn. It’s a perfect small project for last minute knitting gift.
Balaclava is worked top down back and forth in rows for the body and in the round for ribbing.
Body is worked in textured pattern. Start forming the balaclava with the top rectangle, next pick stitches along the right and left sides and continue working body to desired length. The main part is finished with ribbing worked in the round. The last touch is ribbing edge for face opening is worked in the round.
