Pattern Notes
Short rows are used in this garment to create a sloped edge that can be rolled over to suggest a shawl collar. Stitches are picked up from the cast-on edge and knit together with the live stitches as if working a large tubular cast on. This technique provides the bottom of the garment with added weight. An I-cord bind off delivers a finished look to the edge of the shawl collar.
