Are you a sloth lover? If so, it’s time to take your love to a new level by crocheting your own unique sloth basket! Kids are obsessed with these lovable animals so a sloth Easter basket would make the perfect gift. The pattern is very detailed and there are pictures throughout to make things easy to understand. With these detailed instructions, even those with little crochet experience can find success creating their own masterpiece!
SLOTH BASKET PATTERN DETAILS:
-Measurements: approximately 15 inches tall, 17 inches long, and 9.5 inches wide.
-Skills: single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, single crochet decrease, double crochet decrease, back post single crochet, slip stitch, working in rounds, basic increasing & basic sewing.
-Written in US Terms
-Skill Level: Easy/Intermediate

THINGS YOU WILL NEED:
-Hooks: You will need a 3.75 mm (F), 5 mm (H), and 6 mm (J) hook IF YOUR GAUGE MATCHES MINE!
-Yarn: You are welcome to use any brand of worsted weight/category 4 yarn as long as you check your gauge before beginning. For a tip on how to save time when checking your gauge, check out my blog post entitled “Becoming a Master Gauge Checker: It’s a stinky job, but somebody’s gotta do it…”
-Red Heart Super Saver Yarn- You will need about 936 yards of main color, and small amounts of accent color, eye patch color, leaf color, black & white.
-Polyester Stuffing or 18” x 24” piece of 1/2” project foam. Some stuffing still needed for handle even if you choose to use project foam.
-Pins & tapestry needle with large eye
