Slouch Beanie
Pull on Hat - Knitting Pattern - fits Adults and Children. Slouchie, beanie style. Worked in double rib, this pattern uses standard Aran weight yarn and is worked on a set of 4 double pointed needles so that it has no seams. This is part of a collection of sewing and knitting patterns suitable for children with sensory processing disorder. see my website for more details.

3 – 12 years - head circumfernece approx 45.5 cm (18 in)
12 years - Adult - head circumfernece approx 56 cm (22in)
Materials
1 ball of King Cole Fashion Aran x 100g ball shade Graphite 314
(200 metres / 219 yards per ball)
To substitute: use any standard Aran weight yarn with a given tension of 18 sts and 24 rows to 10 cm on no 5 mm needles – see ball band label for details.
1 set 4 no 4 (US6) double pointed needles.
1 set 4 no 5 (US8) double pointed needles.
(Bamboo needles recommended)
Tension
Over 2 x 2 rib on no 5 mm (without stretching the work) 30 sts and 24 rows - 10 cm square
Over st st on no 5 mm needles 18 sts and 24/25 rows – 10 cm square.
