These two packs are smaller versions of a full size pack suited to the smaller set. The mini pack is just the right size for a toddler or preschool age child and the junior is geared more toward the school age child or teen wanting a smaller pack. Even adults wanting a smaller pack can lengthen the straps to suit their own needs. The approximate sizes after felting are as follows:
Junior 10” x 13” x 3” and Mini 7” x 10” x 2”.

The pattern uses bulky yarn, but you can also use worsted weight worked double (which means you need 2x the yardage as well).
