I was inspired to design this simple hat after seeing the character Hazel wearing a similar beanie in ‘The Fault in Our Stars’ movie.

Getting Started: To begin, gather all of your knitting tools and materials. Then relax into an easy pattern that’s great for quick knit gifts! 

Finished Hat Size Fits: Average adult size: 21” - 23’’

Knitting Gauge in Stockinette Stitch: 16 stitches and 24 rows = 4 inches

Scarf Construction: The knitted hat is created from the bottom up on circular needles, then finished at the crown with double-pointed straight needles.

Finishing Work: Because we are knitting up our hat in one piece, you simply need to weave in your yarn ends.
