For the Girls size: Materials: 2 balls of 12ply, aran or worsted weight, wool or cotton. My examples are all knitted with shepherd 12 ply. Rowan pure wool aran would be a good substitute but is a little lighter so check gauge carefully.
Size J-10 or (6mm) crochet hook.

Gauge: 12 tr stitches and 4 and a half rows to 4 square inches.

For the Doll’s size: Materials: 1 balls of 4ply, fingering weight, wool or cotton. Size E or (3.5mm) crochet hook.

Gauge: 6dc stitches and three rows to the square inch.
