The hat that my boyfriend (affectionately named Honey Bear) has been waiting for is finally here!

Warm, but not too warm, slouchy, but not too slouchy, with a fold-over brim and a “zig-zag” chevron patterning, any adult will love this hat.

A simple knit-and-purl texture that continues through the decreases will keep the knitter interested, and the aran weight yarn will work up at a nice speed. Perfect for gift knits!

This hat should fit any adult, but will appear more slouchy on smaller heads. The brim can be rolled up or left down to create the desired level of slouch.

I used a tubular cast on for this hat, and I include a link in the pattern to the tutorial I followed. However, any stretchy cast on will work for this hat.
