To make this beanie you will need one skein of Red Heart Unforgettable yarn, I used the color Sunrise. It is a Size 4 medium weight yarn, if you want to substitute with the yarn of your choice, just make sure they are the same weight. I chose this yarn because of the softness and they have some very nice colorful color combinations. It has a shine to it and drapes very nicely.

This is a very light beanie, it would be perfect for fall or for anyone living in a warmer climate like my self. I am going to get a lot more use out of this beanie for sure. It does provide some warmth but I would still consider it to be a lighter medium weight yarn.

This pattern will make an adult size beanie that will fit a 21-23 inches. To make it smaller or bigger if necessary you can add more rows to your brim. You want to have an even number of stitched for the body of the beanie.
