This beanie was inspired by an ugly hank of sock yarn and the need to make it useful.

I decided to make a hat to donate and use a fun new stitch the results ended up a pleasant surprise.

Size: Fits a 19-21in. head
Yarn: Less than 200yds of DK or 2 strands of sock weight held together as pictured.
Needles: 3.5mm for brim, 4.5mm for body
Notions: stitch marker, needle
