The PDF includes both a slouchy and a beanie version of the hat. This hat pattern was originally designed for chemo patients, using the Spa yarn, which is very soft and drapey.

The hat is made from the crown and finished at the brim/band, all as one piece. The diagonal section is in the main body of the hat.

Stitches used: chain, sc, rsc, hdc dc dc2tog, fpdc

Pattern was updated 27-FEB-2012 to fix an error on Rnds 15 & 16.
