I made this hat years ago, in fact it was the first hat I made when I finished my full length scarf. I used the leftover yarn from my scarf, some of those colors are retired. But I noticed my hat was different than others on the site, so I figured I would finally write it down and share it with others. I think I took a section of the official scarf pattern and added the one color that was missing from it and then just did it as a hat. I like mine slouchy, so this will be slouchy if made as is.
