This hat converts into a cowl and it is already one of my favorites!. I get earache when it is cold, so this is perfect for me! the ribbing is very stretchy so sits perfectly on the head. Once you open to top of the hat you can use it as a neck warmer or a cowl, perfect!. This project is for intermediate crocheters but really we only going to use basic stitches.

Materials and notions:
Drops Lima Alpaca mix, toddler size 100g (184 yards) for child and adult 150g (276 yards)
Size hook G (4 mm)
Tapestry needle.
