Slouchy Hex Jumper
The frame of this slouchy jumper is two simple granny hexagons of the same size. You will work through 1 hexagon, join the shoulder seam and extend the arms, then add width for the back & chest (and length if required), repeating the same for the second hexagon before joining and adding additional length (if preferred), then finish off with a ribbed collar and waistband. This pattern is a bit of a ‘choose your own adventure’ and has written customizations for both length and collar style – v or round neck.
What makes this pattern different from other Hex patterns? The ‘seamless’ look when joining the pieces together, the choice of necklines for this sweater, customizations for length, the chart instructions and the detail in the pattern.
Pattern includes size guides XS - 3XL, and some notes on how you can adjust for your body. For smaller or larger sizes, we change the number of rounds on the hex to suit the final arm size and increase or decrease the additional rows for the chest, back and arms as required.
Pattern includes written & diagram instructions, as well as pictures for explanation, recommend for advanced beginner up. Skills needed; FPdc, BPdc, dc, sc, sc2tog & sl st.
