ABOUT
This hat is knit from the bottom up in the round with a folded up double brim for extra warmth around the ears. Sized for an average woman’s head which is 21-23” in circumference as stated in the CYC sizing standards. This pattern uses stranded colourwork with 4 colours.

SKILLS
This pattern is an easy level, appropriate for an experienced beginner. Skills needed: casting on, knit stitch, purl stitch, knitting in the round, basic stranded knitting, kfb, knitting 2 stitches together.

MATERIALS NEEDED:

• Size 6mm 16” circular needles (or DPNs if preferred)
• 4 colours of Lion Brand Jeans Yarn (130 yds colour 1, 25 yds colour 2, 25 yds colour 3, 35 yds colour 4)
• stitch marker
• yarn/tapestry needle
• scissors
