This slouchy lace beret is a very quick and easy hat to make.
It takes less than 100 m and if you are in a hurry can be made up in one evening.

The hat can be made slouchier by adding more rows of lace holes or by changing the needles to a larger size (for example 5.5mm or 8.5 or 9mm).

To me the excitement of this pattern is the different looks that can be achieved by using different yarns.

This is a perfect project for that special ball of yarn that you just couldn’t pass up.

This pattern of (Yarn over Knit 2 together) will give a diagonal slant to the piece but this does not show when the hat is sewn up the back.

It matches my scarf pattern Kennedy’s Zippy Scarf if you wish to make up a set.
