An easy 3-row grand eyelet lace pattern makes the bag airy and roomy. The lace pattern is worked using a single strand of the yarn. For the 3rd Rnd of the lace pattern, a needle 3 sizes larger is used.

The base, the garter border at the top and the handles are all worked with yarn held double. The handles are worked separately and sewn on.

SIZE: About 13 in 33cm wide x 13 in 36cm tall; handles 22” 61cm.
YARN: Jute Cotton Yarn approx. 15 wraps per inch, approx. 195 gms.
NEEDLES: Circular knitting needles, sizes US 8/5mm and 10.5/2.75mm.
NOTIONS: Stitch markers.
GAUGE: 18sts, 16 rows to 4 in/10 cm with US 8/5mm needles in garter stitch.
