This pattern is for a slouchy bobble hat made using a sprig stitch repeat. It is an adult size hat and the circumference of the hat works up to approx 62cm at a streach, for a smaller rim - change down to a 7mm hook for the colour change section at the end. You’ll need 100g/70m of the main hat colour in a super chunky yarn such as Mrs Moon plump or Wool and the Gang Crazy Sexy Wool, plus an additional 50g/35m of the contrasting colour for the rim and pom pom. When making a pompom with these super chunky yarns, use a thin cotton to secure them and ensure you tie it very tight as they can easily work loose.
