this hat was made with a soft stretchy yarn, estimated size is newborn to 1 yr. i was pleasantly surprised to see that it will stretch to fit a 2 yr old, although it will not really be slouchy anymore in that case :)
but luckily it can be “grown” to fit since needles + yarn = magic
