Slumber Socks
If you’ve knit my other sock patterns you’ll recognize this as my basic recipe, adjusted to DK weight yarn for you. Toe up, gusset and short row heel, simple straight forward directions. A classic, well fitting sock that you’ll knit over and over again.
I love knitting these DK socks when my hands need a break from fingering weight projects, or someone requests a pair of socks as a gift, because they fly off the needles. I tend to wear them most with winter boots, in bed on cold winter nights, and to keep my feet cozy on hard wood floors.
If you’re new to sock knitting I would highly recommend you start here, the thicker yarn/needles, and lower stitch counts will be easier to manage.
Dive into that stash of random DK skeins, and cast on.
Happy Knitting!
