Slumberland is a baby blanket or throw crocheted in the round from the center out. Shell stitches create an interesting starburst design that pulls your eye into the center. Easy to hook and works up quickly. Make it with any weight of yarn. The pattern was written using 1,000 yards of pink sport weight yarn with a size H (5mm) hook to make a 33” x 33” baby blanket. Using 1,950 yards of an Aran or worsted weight yarn in six colors with a size J (6mm) or I (5.5mm) crochet hook can make a blanket about 48” x 48”. It looks great worked in one color, two or more colors, or a yarn with long color runs or changes. Gather up all your partials skeins and orphan skeins to make a fun scrap blanket. The four page pattern includes written row instructions and a crochet chart.
