DESCRIPTION
Sly the Fox Hat was designed as a companion piece to the Sly the Fox Blanket , Sly the Fox Stuffie, and Sly the Fox Rattle (patterns sold separately). It is a very cute hat that makes for a stand alone piece or a wonderful set when combined with the blanket and stuffie.

There are several different techniques used to make this hat which are all explained in detail in the pattern with written instructions and picture tutorials. There are also YouTube tutorials for additional explanation.

Level of Difficulty - Intermediate 4

• The main stitch used is a modified single crochet.
• The face is done using the intarsia technique.
• The starting row is a foundation single crochet (explained in detail in the pattern).
• The hat is made in the round and uses invisible joins (explained in detail in pattern).
• There are yarn floats to work over (explained in detail in the pattern).

3 colours of #4 weight yarn required
Colour A: 95 yds / 86 m
Colour B: 15 yds / 14 m
Colour C: 9 yds / 9 m
Hook: 5.5mm
Measuring tape
Stitch markers
Tapestry needle
Scissors
