Freddy is the friendliest amigurumi speckled frog you’ll meet! His favorite hobbies include sitting on a log that overlooks a nearby pond, swimming with his friends to keep cool in the summer sun, and eating the most delicious bugs. Yum! Yum!

This pattern will help you to create your very own Freddy Frog and his own little army of speckled friends!

Freddy Frog is great to use for imaginative play, educational games/songs, and gift giving for all the frog lovers in your life.

PATTERN INFORMATION

• Your PDF purchase includes written instructions and helpful photographs to aid in construction.
• The pattern is written in English using US crochet terminology.
• The skill level needed is advanced intermediate (but ambitious beginners are always encouraged to try!).
• The techniques you will need to know are the chain, single crochet, slip stitch, sc increase, invisible decrease, regular sc decrease, the adjustable ring, joining parts, and optionally some needle shaping.
• To complete the Frog you will need yarn in your choice of colors (about 139 yds of worsted/aran), a size E/4 (3.5 mm) crochet hook, stitch markers, tapestry needle, stuffing, pins, scissors, and a chopstick to help with stuffing.
• The finished Frog measures approximately 11 inches tall from the top of the eye to the tip of the toe with the legs extended and approximately 6 inches tall from the top of the eye to the bottom of the body in the sitting position.
