Small Beaded Christmas Tree
Small Beaded Christmas Tree is a beautiful little Christmas decoration. It is a perfect little replica of a big Christmas tree. You can put one in every room! It will make a beautiful place setting and keepsake. It is an easy pattern, and with the small amount of yarn it uses, it is a great stash buster.
Size: The Small Beaded Christmas Tree is 18cm or 7 inches tall
You can sell your completed trees! Just credit me as the designer.
Materials needed: 3.5mm or 4US knitting needles, 10g or 0.35 ounces of dark green double knit yarn, small amount of green sparkly lurex (knit the lurex with the dark green yarn treating them as one), small amount of white double knit yarn, 65 x red plastic beads 6mm in width with a hole large enough for the yarn to pass through, 14cm or 5.5 inch length of dowel rod 16mm thick, small pot 25mm or 1 inch tall, clear adhesive, 84cm or 33inches of 0.8mm wire, 10 x Christmas charms ranging in size from 12-25mm or 0.5-1 inch, and a small amount of stuffing for the angel (or you can stuff it with white yarn)
Methods used: Cast on using the two needle method, knit or garter stitch, place bead - knit the previous stitch, push the bead up to the knitting needle and knit the next stitch as usual, KFB - Knit into the front and the back of the stitch, K2tog - Knit 2 stitches together as 1,
cast off.
A larger or smaller size can be achieved by using a thicker or thinner yarn. Adjust the needle size accordingly so that you get a tight fabric.
