Small Christmas Angel Laina
Pretty little Laina is the 2014 addition to the Heritage Heartcraft angel choir.
Worked with beautiful open lacy scallops and a little bit of tiered ruffles, she is inspired by the beautiful baby girl for whom she was named.
As with many of my patterns, since this is not a wearable item, you can choose your preferred fiber weight and match the hook size appropriately. For instance, worked in baby weight Stylecraft yarn with a 2.75 mm hook Laina is just under 8 inches tall.
Make her in all white for a classic look, or in warm brights for a more folksy feel- it’s up to you!
Let Laina dress up your Christmas tree this year, or make her to be a guardian angel to watch over a special someone all year.
The name Laina, depending on where one looks, means path or roadway, or light. Both of those thoughts are brought together in this design.
