Pattern includes written instructions with photo guides as well as a crochet symbol chart for those who need a visual representation of the pattern or prefer it to a written pattern. I used Lily Sugar’n Cream Yarn, but this pattern is not designed purely for that yarn. It would make lovely curtain tie backs in any type of yarn desired, as well as any hook size, if you chose to use a thicker yarn, or small yarn. The length of the tie backs using the yarn and hook listed is roughly 9 inches, not including the end loops that go on the hooks. If you include that, it comes out to almost 10 inches in length. I use these for all the curtains in my house that have curtains to be tied back on both sides of the window and I love them.
