Filet crochet chart originally published in an issue of Star Needlework Journal in 1919.

Finished Size: About 10 inches wide x 10 inches tall (when made in a 3-dc mesh, according to the directions that follow). If you crochet the chart in a 4-dc mesh, the resulting piece will be wider than it is tall. If you want it to be square (close to the dimensions of the chart), a 3-dc mesh will achieve that.

Gauge: 4 dc rows = 2 inches, 8 dc = 2 inches
