MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn – Purple and Green (about 4 oz Purple if stuffing with ball of yarn) scraps of Yellow and Red or color desired desired for tongue, nostrils and claws.
Size 5 US 3.75 mm knitting needles DPN or circular (DPN is good for most of the project due to small scale of pieces)
Size 8 US 5 mm knitting needles, DPN or circular (DPN is good for most of the project due to small scale of pieces)
Size E, H and K crochet hooks
Yarn Needle (optional)
Stuffing or yarn scraps (if creating yarn balls to stuff softie)
Felt, buttons, craft foam, embroidery floss for eyes
