Materials: Your choice of yarn. DK, light worsted or worsted weight recommended.
In the example shown here, a DK weight 100% cotton yarn was used with a 4mm hook. Completed dimensions for this bag were: 11cm (4.25”) diameter of base, 9cm (3.5”) high at sides, 25cm (9.75”) length of handle.

Yarn quantity: For bag: approx. 50g (92 metres / 100 yards) DK weight yarn for the same dimensions as shown in the example.
For flower motif: approx. 2g (3.75 metres / 4 yards) DK weight yarn for the same dimensions as shown in the example.

Hint: This is the perfect way to use up some leftovers from other projects!

Gauge: Gauge is not critical for this project.
