The Small Flower Cushion is a decorative eye-catcher that can be used in a variety of ways.
It also makes a great gift.
This cute flower cushion is made out of two parts.
It’s been knitted from the outside in.
First, the tips of the petals are formed with wrap and turn short-rows.
After all 5 tips are made, you will switch from working in rows to working in rounds, using the Magic Loop method.
This is done twice.
Both pieces are crocheted together.
The flower is shaped with a thread.
Optionally, you can sew a button in the middle (or two: one on each side).
Materials:
yarn: You can use any yarn, but keep in mind: The thickness of the yarn has an effect on the size of the flower cushion. I am using a bulky weight yarn in this tutorial (approx. 60 g)
circular needles / additional DPNs
a crochet hook
stitch markers
a needle (to weave in ends)
scissors
some stuffing (I am using a “highly fluffy” stuffing)
optional: one or two buttons for decoration
