This small intestine forms part of a series of patterns I’m making that come together to form the digestive tract. It measures around 5.25m in length. This is approximately life-size (approximate because the length of the small intestine varies massively between people (its generally somewhere between 4 and 7m in length).

A 2.5mm crochet hook
Anchor creativa fino cotton yarn in dusty pink
Polyester toy stuffing
A darning needle
A pair of scissors
