This is a simple pattern for a small knit donkey, about 22 cm from the bottom to the top of the head. It takes about 40 gm of yarn in the main colour, a small amount of contrast colour for the hooves, and a smaller amount for the muzzle. Polyester stuffing is needed, and yarn to embroider the face. If you want safety eyes, you need those as well. I embroider all my faces. Head and body are knit in one piece. Front legs are knit separately and sewn on, as are the muzzle and the ears.
