Small Lace Fingerless Mitts
These sweet fingerless mitts evoke an elegance that I sometimes wish was still a part of every day life. Use these mitts to add the finishing touch to that special outfit, or use them as a beautiful and practical way to keep your hands warm in too-cool offices.
These mitts are worked from the wrist upwards, in the round, so you can customize the length. The cuff edging is added afterwards by working into the foundation chain. Beads can be added afterwards for even more decoration.
Sizing: There are instructions within the pattern for customizing the size smaller/larger. As written is for an adult small.
Yarn: The yarn recommended in this pattern is discontinued. Use your favorite #10 thread or similar lace or fingering weight yarn.
Materials: 1.75mm hook for the mitts, 1.4mm hook for adding the beads to the edging, scissors, blunt tip needle for weaving in ends
Pattern uses US terminology. Written and charted.
