Small Medium Dog Sweater
Crochet PATTERN (written in ENGLISH, US terminology, 1 PDF file) for Small and Medium, Male and Female dog Cape Coat with Hood. The hood can be turned inside out and worn as a high stand-up collar.
Best fit: an average adult Pug, French Bulldog, Bulldog puppies weighing from 9 lb (4 kg).
Designed for:
- dogs with the CHEST circumference (around the widest part behind the front legs) 16.5-22.5’’ (42-57 cm), weighing no more than 33 lbs (15 kg);
- 270-410 yards (250-375 m) of LIGHT or MEDIUM WORSTED yarn (US weight category 3 or 4) in total;
- crochet density (GAUGE) from 14 to 21 stitches per 4 inches (10 cm), depending on the item size and the yarn weight.
Pattern contains a chart with the suggested GAUGE for each size.
Crochet skill level required:
‘INTERMEDIATE’ (EASY for those who are focused enough to count stitches carefully).

Crochet hook US G (4 mm) and 1¼ skeins of Alize WOOLTIME yarn used to crochet the smallest size pictured:
1 skein = 219 yds / 3.53 oz (200 m / 100 g),
75% Superwash Wool, 25% Polyamide.
In the item shown, the density of crochet is 20 stitches / 12 rows per 4’’ (10 cm) in dc BLO.
Scissors and a large eye needle needed to complete the project.
