The body of bag is knit as a flat piece. Stitches are picked up and knit to create the sides and strap of the bag, no seaming is necessary.

The strap has three separate buttons to allow the user to change the length of the strap from handbag, to over one shoulder, to cross shoulder.

An optional removable lining may be sewn using your favorite fabric fabric and two (12 in x 7 1/2 in) pieces very stiff interfacing creating a 12 inch wide by about 7 1/2 inch deep pocket. Extra smaller pockets may be sewn to the lining before the sides of the lining are sewn together. Complete instructions for this sewn removable lining are NOT included with this pattern.
