This small modular cowl is the little sister of the “Modular Cowl in Three Colors”. Its construction is the same-small modular squares joined as you knit on a circular base. Dimensions of the small cowl measure 5” by 22” in circumference.

The yardage range is a guestimate as it was made with the same yarn purchased for the larger cowl. But as this pattern requires only a small amount of yarn, you could use any worsted weight yarn living in your stash. it is written with 3 colors but you could use two, four or more colors. You could also use a variegated or self striping yarn as the contrasting color.

I noticed that the larger cowl was knitted with size 8 needle and this one with a size 7. You could used whichever one produces the “hand” you like.
