Getting an exact gauge is not necessary for this pattern
Yardage needed depends on how many/which flag you want to make. Each flag takes about 9-12 grams of yarn total

Pattern includes colorways for all flags with KnitPicks Dishie yarn except for the lesbian pride flag, as at the time of developing this pattern Dishie did not have the colors I was looking for. The lesbian flag has recommended colorways from Caron Simply Soft Solids.

All pride flags are knitted in seed stitch except for the progress pride flag, the demisexual pride flag, and the intersex pride flag, which are knitted with intarsia and charts are included.

Pride flags in the pattern are sorted by number of stripes included in the flag.
