Small Purse with Flap Cover and Clasp
This is a very easy pattern! Make lots of these tiny cute purses in different color combinations. Great as last minute gifts, party favors, for charity fund-raising and for selling at craft fairs :)
This purse can be used to keep coins and other small items like jewelleries, gemstones, marbles, thumbdrive, medications, notes, buttons, miniatures, candies, etc or
put some potpourri inside and throw them into drawers, cupboards, cars, etc… for that sweet scent or fragrance.
If you know basic crochet skills like slip stitch, single crochet, double crochet, crocheting in the rounds, etc, then this pattern is for you :)
The pouch measures approximately 3 inches/7.62cm across its top edge and 2.25 inches/5.72cm in height.
I used an acrylic yarn and another mercerized cotton yarn for trim. The acrylic yarn is 18 wraps-per-inch type and is categorised as fine/laceweight. Wraps-per-inch (or WPI) is a measure of the grist or the thickness of a yarn. The finished pouch size will vary depending on the type of yarn used and your crocheting tension.
