Small simple blanket
Gauge is not important. However, if you want to get close to my measurements, then you may want to follow the gauge.
This is worked up and down rather than side to side. In other words, it is worked lengthwise, not widthwise.
This is just kind of a rough template. As the measurements are not really “classic” sizes for a throw blanket or afghan, you may want to adjust and measure accordingly.
I just threw this up because it didn’t seem there was a whole lot of simple free blankets to make. This one uses sc, hdc, and ‘seed stitch’ (which is alternating sc and hdc from stitch to stitch down the row).
I think it would be a fair size for a car blanket or something like that. It’s not quite long enough for you to lay on the couch and have your feet covered as an adult. But sometimes, maybe that is just enough!! :)
