Small Skull Beanies
Just about any fingering weight yarn will work.
Color A: about 220 yards.
Color B: about 22 yards.
Original hats were knit in Cascade Yarns® Heritage Solids. The grey hat used Charcoal and Italian Plum while the black hat used Black and Snow.
This pattern was inspired by a request from Canadian actor Ty Olsson. We met at a convention. He’d previously requested a hat with a single skull at the front, which I sent him and he promptly misplaced. I recently was in touch with him again and he asked for a second hat but this time with small skulls as a border rather than one large skull. These hats and this pattern are the result!
Previous proceeds from the sale of this hat pattern were donated to (Christie Lake Kids)http://www.christielakekids.com/, a charity in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. As of April 2023, donations totaling $185 (USD) have been made to Christie Lake Kids!
Photo included is from Ty’s Instagram page the full post can be seen here.
